You will be taught…
How to play crystal bowls, tuning forks (both weighted and non-weighted), bamboo chimes, regular chimes, and rattles. You will also learn the purpose of each instrument and what to use them for in a session.
How to produce polyphonic overtones with your voice, and how to effectively apply these tones to the body.
Distinct acupressure points and chakras that respond well to sound and when/why to apply to these areas.
How to feel chi in your hands and then move it with sound, addressing lack of chi, stuck chi, and techniques to activate and charge chi.
Chakra vowel sounds for self-healing, opening, and shifting energy.
Medicine songs for healing
There will be ample opportunity for practice sessions, allowing you to experience the sound chi activation in your own body.
If you have sound healing instruments, feel free to bring the ones you believe you'd like to use in your practice. Tonia will also provide plenty of instruments for practice, as well as some available for purchase.
Tonia Lach received her sound healing certificate in 2001 from Karin Sheilde of Soul Voice®. With 32 years of massage therapy practice, Tonia is knowledgeable and passionate about her work.
