Herbs for the Heart
Description: Let’s get to the heart of the matter, shall we? The heart is a vital organ that not only pumps blood throughout the body, but also anchors the emotional body and spirit. All too often, life beckons us to move at a million miles a minute, and it can be challenging to take a moment to slow down and tend our hearts.
Luckily, herbs are here to help!
Whether you’re someone who wears your heart on your sleeve, is healing from a broken heart, or is seeking a little heart-opening, herbs can help you every step of the way.
So, follow your heart and join herbalists Lia Leibman and Tara McCulloch for a day-long Herbs for the Heart retreat nestled in a magical redwood grove in Lagunitas.
During this retreat, Lia and Tara (who have been BFFs for 10+ years!) will guide you through a series of somatic exercises, medicine making, and embodied herbal learning.
Highlights of the day will include…
•Living your best kitchen witch life: making potions like salves and teas in the cottage kitchen
•Chilling out with community: connecting with the plants and each other through grounding teas and somatic exercises
•Using all your senses to learn about heart-supportive herbs like rose, linden, rosemary, and more—taste, touch, smell, see, and listen to the plants <3
•Learning how to do self-massage with herb-infused oils along the heart meridian
•Gaining simple tools for maintaining healthy energetic boundaries
