Ortho-Bionomy with Jeanne Douglas
Class Description: This is one of the most exciting Ortho Bionomy® classes! The powerful techniques taught in this class are simple, easy to use and extraordinarily effective at helping the body instantaneously reconfigure and release its own stuck muscle patterns! Even chronic muscle patterns that have dominated the body’s structure for years! These techniques encourage mobility and simulate self-corrective reflexes that help the body re-sync its sensory-neuro motor loop. These techniques require the active participation of the client so they can learn how the conscious use of an obstacle can help promote change from rigid physical patterns to greater mobility and allow the client to actively participate in their own healing: “What cannot be healed from within the body, cannot be healed from without.” You will learn self-care techniques. You will continue applying the concepts and principles of Ortho-Bionomy as you gain a deeper understanding of how they relate to the body.
Prerequisite: Any Ortho-Bionomy class or permission from Jeanne. If no previous Ortho-Bionomy experience students will need to attend a 3-hour Introduction to Ortho-Bionomy class Friday evening.
